Unacceptable Shipping Time for Hamilton, ON - Incorrect Info from Phone Support

I have used Peter and Paul's Gifts several times in the past year and was sorely disappointed during my latest purchase. I had purchased a customized Classico Crate and paid $20 for shipping for Hamilton, ON (1 hr from Toronto). I selected a shipping date of December 22, for a friends' 30th birthday and had placed the order 2 days before this date. The gift never arrived! When calling phone support, I was told shipments couldn't be guaranteed and was informed the gift would arrive either on the 23rd (Saturday) or Monday (25th). After being put on hold for another 5minutes (had to call 4x to actually speak to a person), I was told the gift would arrive Monday December 25 before 3pm. As this gift had alcohol in it, my friend waited around all day for the package. The package was not delivered until Tuesday December 27th! This was a complete let down and ruined the whole point of ordering the gift in advance for a special birthday (it was supposed to be a nice surprise). I will not be ordering again as phone staff couldn't have cared less and still took my money for shipping after this whole letdown.
